Regatta Weekend

The Regatta weekend is fast approaching so for anyone who needs reminding here are some details:

Friday 5th June: Commodores Welcome - Open invitation to members - Club tie event - Live Band starring Lia - Disco by the two Steves - Finger Food Buffet - pay bar

Saturday 6th June: Regatta Day One - Boating events - Fun Games - DIY lunch BBQ, Evening Fancy Dress Event (Film / TV / Oscars theme: dress as any character, star or just glam up for the red carpet look), Buddy Holly Tribute, Disco by the two Steves, Hog Roast, pay bar - contact Secretary for ticket details - illuminated boats.

Sunday 7th June: Regatta Day Two - Compare hangover cures, boat jumble, more events, DIY lunch BBQ, procession, prizegiving ceremony.

Upware Trip

Looking forward to seeing everyone for the Upware trip this weekend. Hopefully we will be third time lucky for the dinghy trip. Weather forecast looks OK so fingers and toes crossed!

Commodores Welcome

A big thank you to everyone who turned up to the Commodores Welcome and made it such an enjoyable evening. The usual thank you to Dianne for the food and Steve for the entertainment, as well as everyone who assisted with setting up, cleaning up and taking down, you know who you are!

Looking forward to a great season with less rain and no flooding.
